Deadly Accident In Texas

State troopers are investigating an accident that happened Tuesday afternoon on Highway 59 North in Lufkin.

Authorities said a man was headed west on FM 2021 and failed to yield the right of way while crossing 59. A white pickup headed south broadsided the car.

The truck driver is in critical condition at a Lufkin hospital. He lost his arm in the wreck. The driver of the car died.
