Bus Crash Passengers Return To Dallas

March 3, 2006

The survivors of Saturday's deadly bus crash in Oklahoma are back in Dallas. Officers say an El Conejo bus, carrying about 45 people, crashed on Interstate 35 south of Oklahoma City. Officers say there was ice on the road at the time of the accident.

According to the bus driver, a car pulled in front of him and made him lose control of the bus. The bus flipped and skidded on its top before coming to a stop.

A woman and an eight-year-old boy were killed while dozens were injured.

The passengers also relayed some disturbing news. Allegedly the El Conejo Bus Company tried to get them to sign forms that they would not sue over the crash.

The passengers questioned why the forms were printed in English, when they spoke only Spanish and refused to sign them.
